Obstetrics & Gynecology

The Year 6 Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB/GYN) specialization provides medical students with essential clinical experience in women’s health, focusing on pregnancy, childbirth, and reproductive medicine.

This rotation develops students’ ability to provide care across the reproductive life cycle, including prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum management, as well as gynecologic care for a wide range of conditions. The program emphasizes safe maternal care, surgical skills, patient counseling, and evidence-based decision-making in both outpatient and hospital settings.
