The Year 6 Internal Medicine specialization focuses on the comprehensive care of adult patients across a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions. This rotation is designed to develop students’ clinical reasoning, diagnostic accuracy, and therapeutic decision-making in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Emphasis is placed on long-term management, preventive care, and a holistic understanding of patients with complex health profiles.
